Who We Are
Nocturnal Protective Services ("NPS," "we," or "us") provides California guard card training. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and how we use it.
Information We Collect
Information you give us. When you contact us or book a class — through our Get in Touch form, email, phone, or text — we collect the details you provide, such as your name, phone number, email address, preferred class dates, and city.
Booking and payment. Class payments are processed through Square. Your payment card details are handled directly by Square and are not stored by us.
Basic website data. Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log standard technical information, such as browser type and pages visited. We do not currently use this information to identify you personally.
How We Use Your Information
- Respond to your questions and requests
- Schedule, confirm, and deliver your training
- Process registrations and payments
- Send you class details and follow-ups related to your training
- Keep training records as required by BSIS
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed with service providers that help us operate (such as Square for payments), and when required by law or by BSIS.
Data Retention
We keep your information as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal and BSIS record-keeping requirements.
How We Protect Your Data
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Payment card details are processed securely by Square and are never stored on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard the information you share with us.
Your Rights
You can ask us to review, update, or delete the personal information you have shared by calling or texting (562) 313-6604 or emailing mario@nocturnalprotectiveservices.com. Depending on your situation, you may also have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use it
- Request a copy of that information
- Ask us to correct inaccurate information
- Ask us to delete your information
- Opt out of any sale or sharing of your personal information — note that we do not sell or share it
