Nocturnal Protective Services is committed to ensuring that people with disabilities can access our website and enroll in our training. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the standard widely referenced for websites in the United States.

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We review the site using a combination of manual checks and automated tools, and we continue to make improvements over time.

What We've Done

Steps We've Taken

  • Clear page structure with proper headings and landmarks that assistive technology can navigate
  • Text descriptions (alt text) for images, so screen-reader users know what each one shows
  • Full keyboard navigation — including the menu, the class calendar, and the expandable FAQ answers — with a visible focus indicator
  • A "skip to main content" link on every page
  • Color contrast that meets WCAG 2.1 AA for readable text
  • Clearly labeled contact form fields, with required fields marked in text
  • Text that can be enlarged with your browser's zoom without breaking the layout
  • Our gallery video contains no audio, so no information is lost without sound
Known Limitations

A Few Honest Notes

Some features rely on third-party services we don't fully control — such as online booking and payment through Square, embedded Google Maps on the class calendar, and our Instagram feed. We work to choose accessible tools, but their experience may vary.

If a third-party feature gets in your way:

You never have to use it to reach us. We're glad to book your class, take payment, or share class details directly by phone, text, or email — whatever works best for you.

We aim to respond as soon as possible — usually the same day during business hours (Mon–Sun, 8 AM–5 PM). If any content is not accessible to you, we'll provide the information or complete the task with you another way.
